FCPX Play Back Lag! Please Help!!!
I have Final Cut 10.2.1 and I am getting some serious playback lag! `I tried the obvious choices, unclicking in better quality also changing the proxy, but nothing is working. These are 1080p clips shot from a cannon T3I camera. I have troubleshooted this thing and I am still getting a playback. I don't know if it's my computer, because I just got a imac two months ago. I launched Adobe Premiere pro cloud thinking it's FCP, but it's playback is lagging to! I thought it was my Ram, but I am well within the requirements. Plus it's frustrating, because my wife and I edited a whole documentary on a macbook pro with only 4gb of Ram and it worked perfect. I am at my end. The files are stored on a external hard drive, so it's not on my system. I can't think of what's wrong with my system. My computer specs are on the bottom. Thank you!
